Imagine you had access to all the information about what’s happening in the world. Every detail, every event, no matter how insignificant. Let’s set aside the possibility of illegal stock market transactions for now. We hear about those every day when we read exposés about speculation in circles close to the White House on the Potomac. I’m not referring to that kind of illicitly obtained knowledge. In my opinion, the methods used to gather information remain unlawful, even though much has been done to adapt the laws to the needs of companies like Palantir.
Palantir doesn’t receive all the information anyway. For example, the company doesn’t know if Person A is currently scratching their nose. Unless, of course, Person A is wearing a super-electronic watch with super-sensors and an internet connection. So how can you get this person to wear such a watch? It’s enough to advertise that it’s good for your health if your family doctor is informed about abnormalities in your body. Your doctor doesn’t really care about your blood pressure and pulse around the clock—he has more important things to do. Thanks to such gadgets, no one has ever been saved, but they have succeeded in creating an ever-growing database of what we do, where we are, and even guessing what we plan to do.

Why did you decide to search for intelligent life in space?
I’ve already looked for it on Earth.
No, artificial intelligence is not our enemy. It is not the technology itself, but the intentions of those who decide how this technology is used that can be very dangerous. Just as automation was not our enemy 50 years ago and has not become one since. While it has eliminated some jobs, it has also created new ones. The danger lies in using AI to manipulate people. That is why the title of this article is “Artificial Indoctrination.”
“When you have AI programs harvesting all the search queries and YouTube videos someone uploads it starts to lay out perceptual influence campaigns, twenty to thirty moves ahead,” Assange said. “This starts to become totally beneath the level of human perception.”
An excerpt from Caitlin Johnstone’s article published on Tuesday: Three Recent Examples Of AI Being Used For Empire Propaganda.

These examples show how unscrupulous individuals use AI technology to promote genocide. They reveal the methods used to spread misinformation through propaganda and artificial indoctrination. It is becoming increasingly difficult to recognize these sophisticated manipulation techniques.

I have written all of my articles myself. When I use AI, I always cite those passages, even though the AI itself generally ignores copyright. I don’t know how long this will remain the case, but for now, it’s still possible to tell whether a text, a film, or an image was created by a human or a computer. The author’s style and intentions are difficult to manipulate in a way that makes them convey something other than what the author intended.
