Each of us succumbs to it. I hope readers will forgive me for choosing the masculine form. In this blog you will not find asterisks and other oddities of the modern ideological grammar called gender. However, the feminine form written by a man does not sound credible. Illusion is an idea or belief that is not true. Source. It is most common on television when presenting news.
If you use such illusionary tricks for entertainment, there is nothing wrong with it. It’s even worse when they are used, like above and below, to deceive people around the world.
