This is the colloquial name for Iceland, due to its volcanic and glacial landscape and numerous geysers. This European island nation, which is one of the Nordic countries, has a population of about 400,000—the same as Miami.
On August 29, a referendum was held in Iceland on resuming accession negotiations with the European Union. 52.8% of voters (with a turnout of 82.5%) voted against joining a centralist and pro-war Union.
There are still nations that act as exemplary models of democracy: Iceland is one such example. Here, the people were allowed to decide whether they wanted to resume EU accession negotiations. There will be no further attempt to convince Icelanders of the “benefits” of a corrupt union, as this totalitarian-bureaucratic monstrosity—which is almost entirely controlled by globalists—will destroy itself first.
The EU’s centers of power are located outside the EU’s territory. Decisions regarding the direction and means of the EU’s decline are made in the City of London and in Davos. Similarly, Riyadh’s decision—forced by Yemen—to suspend oil shipments to the EU did not originate in Brussels. In this context, the European Central Bank has launched a project to introduce a new digital currency following the collapse of the euro.
Under the leadership of Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, the European Union is increasingly evolving into an undemocratic, authoritarian, non-transparent, and centralist power structure. This direction has been imposed on it by globalism.
