Although researchers claim that the UPA employed over 650 different methods of brutal murder against its Polish victims, I will present “only” 362 of them, which are listed on wmeritum.pl. Source. The Volhynia massacre clearly falls under the definition of genocide. This article will feature dramatic photos documenting the Volhynia massacre.
On October 14, 1942, one of the bloodiest and most horrific terrorist organizations in world history was formed—the UPA (Ukrainian Insurgent Army). The UPA was formed under the full patronage of the Germans from scattered bands of OUN members, police officers, and camp guards. In this matter, Bandera was one step ahead of his main rival—Andriy Melnyk—and so the Germans entrusted him with founding the UPA. The motto of Bandera’s terrorists quickly became a slogan: “You must have blood on your knees to liberate Ukraine.”

These are the “old skeletons in the closet” that Anna Maria Żukowska—deputy chairwoman of the New Left—refers to. Source.
And the Bandera terrorists made the blood flow in rivers. They killed everyone—Poles, Belarusians, Russians, Hungarians, Lithuanians, prisoners of war, and even their own villagers—for the slightest act of disobedience.
Researchers of this bloody tragedy have identified over 650 methods of killing used by the Bandera executioners. As if this cruelty were not enough, the “Bezpeka Service” mercilessly killed its own fighters. It was a veritable assembly line of torture, torment, and death.
The massacre organized by the Bandera troops against the Polish population in Volhynia claimed the lives of approximately 150,000 people.

I was still a child back then when we had one of the eyewitnesses to these tragedies staying with us at home. I remember him telling us about the UPA fighters who broke into houses in the countryside, chopped off the limbs of one of the victims with an axe, and threw them at the remaining relatives who were still alive. That was the first time I learned firsthand about the cruelties of this world. My parents didn’t know I had heard that. Children have their own ways…
We must not allow such cruel events to remain hidden—only we, who are still alive, can preserve the memory of these innocent victims.
