Slovakia has had a new prime minister for a month. Social Democrat Robert Fico, leader of the SMER party, was elected to this office for the third time.

SMER (party) does not support strengthening the powers of the World Health Organization at the expense of sovereign states in managing the pandemic. These words were spoken by the Prime Minister of Slovakia, a country that is part of the European Union.
