Speciesist – that’s what Elon Musk was called by his ex-boyfriend Larry Page – the founder of Google. In an interview with FoxNews on Tuesday, Tucker Carlson spoke to Elon Musk about the potential risks of implementing artificial intelligence.
Musk’s statement about Larry Page, the Google boss, is interesting. He was not at all interested in the safety of the technology, which he mostly developed himself. Their goal is to create a superintelligence, i.e. a digital god. What danger does the uncontrolled development of artificial intelligence threaten us with? Elon Musk sees the greatest danger in using artificial intelligence (AI) to influence public opinion. Self-learning text generators in social media can effectively influence public opinion. By analyzing the impact of their actions on the behavior of Internet users, they can correct their own algorithms for creating new entries, thus perfecting the technique of spreading lies.
