I see a certain similarity in the drive toward self-destruction between Israel and the countries of Europe. I am not referring to genocide. That era ended, at least for Europe, with the end of World War II. Nor was the genocide in the form of the anti-COVID vaccination limited to any particular country or continent.

An Israeli soldier throws a flashbang grenade into a car carrying young Palestinians and closes the door just as it explodes.

In my opinion, the similarities stem from the extent to which the policies of these countries are dependent on the same dark forces that we might call globalism, the “deep state,” or plutocracy.
How does the decadence of the European instigators of a war against Russia differ from Israel’s pursuit of armed conflict, even at the risk of losing its only ally? A war that cannot be won.

Over two-thirds of the major arms and munitions Israel imports — without which it could not carry out its genocide of the Palestinians, turn southern Lebanon into a moonscape and bomb Iran, Syria and Qatar — are manufactured and provided by the U.S. And because the Israel lobby, for decades, has owned Congress, because its Zionists allies police and control the media, because it is able to siphon tens of billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars to sustain its military adventurism, Israel is blind to its own limitations. It is willing to inflict harm on its allies, including the U.S., in service to itself.
Quote from an article on unz.com dated June 23: Israel’s Suicidal Rupture with the U.S.

The globalists don’t want anyone to win the war. They want the war itself, and ideally, they’d like it to last forever. That is exactly why it is so difficult to end the war in Ukraine and in the Persian Gulf. It’s enough for the government of even one country to support the war and provoke it—then there can be no talk of peace.
One thing European and Israeli governments have in common is their lack of interest in implementing measures that benefit their own populations. Corrupt politicians equate their own well-being with what they perceive to be the will of their people—if, indeed, they are even their people at all.

Yesterday, there was a failed assassination attempt on French President Macron in the Syrian capital, Damascus. Of course, all assassination attempts—not just those targeting politicians—must be condemned. In this case, however, I am surprised by the choice of potential victim. Who would want to eliminate a puppet of the globalists when there are at least a dozen equally compliant henchmen waiting in line to take his place? The only explanation I can think of is that the operation was carried out by opponents of the junta currently ruling Syria, and Macron just happened to be in the way. It could also be an assassination attempt organized by opponents of globalization, a group to which I count Trump, at least in part.

However, only those plans that he didn’t like.
I’m curious to see what will be announced at today’s NATO summit in Turkey. Next week, a heated discussion—likely to take place behind closed doors—is scheduled between Trump and Netanyahu in Washington. Whose arguments will prevail?
