How to enable English subtitles for foreign language films?

In every movie with sound (audio) in most of the languages used in the world, you can enable English subtitles to understand what is being said.
The only condition for the creator (on YouTube) to set this video is permission to show subtitles. How can you check if a movie has such permission?
Just move the mouse on the movie being played. The following menu will appear on the bottom right of the video window:
The first icon on the left, if active, turns subtitles on or off. The second icon, a gear, is used to set video options.
Click on the gear icon and, when you see “Subtitles” in the menu, select it. If the YouTube channel owner has allowed subtitles, you’ll find an option to enable subtitles in the language of the video—the same function as the first icon.
This hasn’t helped us much so far. However, if you return to the same menu, clicking on the gear icon will open a menu and the “Automatic Translation” option should appear.
The names of these menu items may differ from what I’ve provided here, as I only translate them in German.
Clicking on the “Automatic Translation” menu item opens a large list of languages, including Polish.
After selecting Polish, the subtitles will appear in Polish.
These subtitles may not always be what you expect. First, the translation program must correctly recognize words in the source language, then translate them into Polish. Simply translating individual words is of little use, as the word order in other languages differs significantly from that in our own language. Sometimes, even the meaning of a sentence can be distorted.
If you consider such situations, with some caution, you can use this technique to better understand a completely foreign language.
A partial knowledge of the language is very helpful in ensuring the accuracy of the translation.
