Iran appears to have initiated a noticeable shift in its conduct of the war against the US and Israel in recent days. What has so far been described primarily as “strategic patience” and retaliatory measures could be transforming into a more offensive stance.
In his article published today on tkp.at, Dr. Peter Mayer offers the following interpretation of the leadership change at the top of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (NSN): Iran’s new offensive strategy? Tehran is preparing for tougher countermeasures. Source.

Iran’s change in strategy is a logical consequence of the situation in this insane war in the Persian Gulf. Iran is prepared for a war that will last longer than Trump’s term in the White House. Ahead of the November elections, the Republicans—like a traveler lost in the desert, longing for water—are dreaming of some kind of success to convince their disillusioned voters to vote for them. Meanwhile, everything is falling apart, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to hide the consequences of the president’s delusions.

Mohsen Rezaei’s Platform:
🔺 The Islamic Republic of Iran will not yield to any threat regarding the rights and interests of its people; therefore, decisions in this area must be made with greater determination than ever before, based on a thorough understanding of the situation, as well as with wisdom and courage.
🔺 Today, the Islamic Republic of Iran stands at a critical and decisive juncture in its modern history; the Iranian people have risen up in a great uprising and revolution to restore their historic glory.
🔺 The goal is not only to weather this delicate and dangerous phase, but to ensure that Iran emerges from it safer, more united, more powerful, and better prepared for progress and development.
Things do not look promising for Donald Trump’s concept of “eternal successes.”

So far, Iran has refrained from direct attacks on Israel so as not to bolster Netanyahu’s candidacy in the October elections. However, since the other candidates advocate a similar, genocidal agenda, this restraint is likely to change.
The Knesset elections will take place on October 27, 2026. One of the candidates for the office of Israeli prime minister, Ben-Gvir, in a recent podcast interview, advocated for conducting nightly airstrikes on Gaza, asserting that the Israeli military could eliminate between 30 and 50 individuals whom he referred to as “terrorists” each night, while characterizing Gazans as “not human.” Source.
