Some find this situation deeply distressing, while others are completely unfazed by it. Most of them adopt a mindset designed to keep thoughts of the atrocities—of which they were witnesses and, not infrequently, perpetrators—at bay. They drown out their doubts by arguing that, after all, these were subhumans. For, as the Chabad-Lubavitch sect claims, anyone whose mother is not Jewish is a goy, destined to serve the “chosen” people. Therefore, the killing of a goy cannot be equated with the killing of a Jew.

One of the milder racist remarks made by the Lubavitcher Rebbe (Schneerson), who died in 1994 and was the seventh and last leader of the Chabad-Lubavitch Hasidic dynasty.

However, numbing one’s conscience in this way does not help everyone. For many, it has no effect. They cannot forget the images of the murdered civilians. The left-liberal, English-language Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported on this on Friday. The article is titled: ‘I Felt I Was a Monster’: IDF Soldiers Talk About the ‘Moral Injury’ – and the Silence.

It happened near Salah al-Din Road, Gaza’s main highway. Using a drone, one platoon noticed suspicious figures. Yuval’s unit charged. “I was firing like a madman, like they teach you in platoon drills in basic training,” he says. ‘Maybe in some way I want to die, to get it over with. I don’t kill myself because I promised my mother, but I admit I don’t know how long I can keep it up.’ Yuval. “When we got to our destination, I realized that these weren’t terrorists. It was an old guy and three boys, maybe teenagers. Not one of them was armed. But their bodies were riddled with bullets; their organs were pouring out. I had never seen anything like that so close up.

The Yemeni artist Kamal Sharaf addresses the war crimes committed by the United States and Israel, which involve attacking schools in Iran.

There are also people who openly stand up against evil while there is still time to act. On Monday, over a hundred veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces gathered at the Capitol building to organize a protest that included a flag-raising ceremony and the display of banners bearing the slogans “End the War on Iran” and “We Can’t Afford Another War.”

During an anti-war protest rally, more than 60 veterans were arrested at the Capitol building. The demonstrators held red tulips in their hands to show their solidarity with the Iranian people.

The killing of civilians in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip has not stopped. The insane project of the tiny state on Palestinian soil, promoted by Zionist fanatics, is the reason for the steady decline in support for Israel worldwide. All Scandinavian countries, as well as the new Hungarian prime minister, have announced that the war criminal Netanyahu will be arrested immediately should he appear in these countries. Hasbara has its limits. Even in Israel, he faces arrest on corruption charges. The only thing still protecting him is this war, which he likely brought about himself for that very reason.

On Thursday evening, Israeli forces shot and killed 11-year-old Saleh Badawi in the eastern part of the Gaza Strip. And what good are any subsequent pangs of conscience, if the perpetrators even experience them?
