Most of us cannot find our way in these times. We’ve lived our lives in a time of relative stability, and now everything we considered “normal” has been turned upside down. First shock: PANDEMIC. In one month it will be four years since the world was threatened by a pandemic of fear. The fear reached us from every corner of our consciousness, carefully maintained by the political and media conglomerate. Fearing an unknown but named virus, we gave up our freedom and fundamental rights and condemned those who were not afraid.
I write on behalf of the majority. Surely there were those who refused to be intimidated. However, it doesn’t help us if we hear: “I knew it from the beginning”… What is important is the direction in which our society has developed. We were divided between those who were obedient – the vast majority – and those who were rebellious. Every discussion was practically reduced to an exchange of insults like “You have to be an idiot to think like that” or “My truth is better because I say that.” Not the best censorship for today’s society.
After several months of fear, “salvation” appeared in the form of injections and new divisions emerged. Stalwart anti-vaxxers, condemned by TV “experts,” have been a thorn in the side of those who believe that if we all get vaccinated, the world will be doomed to eternal happiness.
The second shock two years ago: the war in Ukraine. The war replaced fear of the virus with fear of Russia. We no longer remember how terrible the virus was – now Putin is even more terrible.
In April, two years passed since Russia reached an agreement with Ukraine in Ankara and both countries wanted to sign a peace treaty. However, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson vetoed this decision and the war continues to this day. Despite the publication of the contents of the agreement, despite the statements of the politicians involved in these talks, Johnson insists that it is untrue. It’s a lie because he said it. The former prime minister charged Tucker Carlson $1 million for an interview. That’s how much it would cost to prepare more lies.
The thing about fear is that if it is not stoked, it will gradually disappear. That is why we are afraid of being burned by the climate and CO2, without which no life can exist. If someone is still not afraid, I can help them with the arrival of immigrants in both Europe and the USA. More than 90% of these people are harmless, but the remaining 10% have found their place here perfectly and meet the expectations of those who absolutely need this fear.
