More and more often I receive signals that my blog is not available. During the summer, users who accessed my blog via Facebook took third place in the ranking of all users. Today they are ranked 32nd. However, this did not lead to a decline in visitor numbers, as Facebook shadow banning – a technique that limits the visibility of posts on social media – was compensated for by users of other platforms.

Of course, my side is not the only one being fought by the global forces of darkness. Larger platforms and especially their readers are also struggling with new harassment. Most of the time they are technical in nature. Certainly some of these have nothing to do with politics and censorship. Technology can always fail. However, we are increasingly faced with a planned and ruthless fight against “disinformation”. If we were actually dealing with false information, it would be enough to provide the “true” information and back it up with evidence.

It is not easy to find arguments for the media spreading fake news imposed on them by the would-be rulers of the world, and they simply cannot justify it. Therefore, the simplest solution is propaganda to combat the “hate speech” that these media themselves spread and divide societies into hostile groups. Examples? Vaccinated against unvaccinated, supporters of the defense of the innocently attacked Ukraine, compared to those who are looking for the real reasons for this artificially provoked war. Now the media is creating similar divisions on the Israel-Palestine border.

The Guardian’s historical cartoonist Steve Bell has been fired from the newspaper where he worked for at least 40 years over an “anti-Semitic” cartoon.

Censorship aims to prevent us from thinking for ourselves. When one lives in ignorance, it is difficult to accurately assess events. Hiding the truth is cowardice – the fear that the censor will be bombarded with arguments to which he has no answers.
