The constantly growing use of AI and the resulting rapidly increasing demand for storage and computing power is currently leading to a boom in the construction of huge data centers worldwide. At the same time, politicians worldwide are enforcing climate protection to reduce CO₂ emissions. On the other hand, the gigantic energy and water consumption of AI centers is never addressed. Investigative journalist David Icke explains why the construction of data centers and the AI revolution have a higher priority for politicians than the allegedly looming global climate catastrophe. Source.

David Icke claims—and I agree with him—that you are not supposed to have the ability to live your life and pay your bills but instead be completely dependent on the government for your very survival. This is the plan. And if we go on just standing and watching, then it will happen. But it doesn’t have to. 8 billion cannot be controlled by a handful unless the 8 billion comply with the handful. End of story.

For those who don’t know: The Gulag was a Soviet system of forced-labor camps that existed in the USSR from 1930 through the 1950s and 1960s of the 20th century. These were places of “re-education” for people suspected of being hostile to the totalitarian regime. These camps served as models for the German concentration camps. The first Nazi concentration camp in Dachau was opened on March 22, 1933. The German camps, too, were intended to protect the totalitarian system from hostile ideologies. In reality, they served to maintain a reign of terror over the country’s own population.

But that’s history long past—what does it have to do with us? A totalitarian system is a political order in which the state controls all areas of social and private life and strives to bring citizens completely under its control. I received this and earlier definitions from AI—Artificial Indoctrination. After all, we live in a democracy—don’t we? Surely our governments would never promote social control through the media, a video surveillance system, and the spread of fear regarding the consequences of thought crimes.

Even wrongthink has become a punishable offence. Adam Smith-Connor and Isabel Vaughan-Spruce were prosecuted for silently praying near an abortion clinic. They approached no one, distributed no leaflets, and caused no disturbance whatsoever. Whatever one’s position on abortion, the question remains the same: since when has a peaceful thought become a matter for the police and the courts?

The excerpt presented here does not describe an event from the time of World War II—this happened only recently in the British Isles—the cradle of European democracy. The quote is taken from an article published in June on benews.media: The Digital Gulag.

Winston Smith loved Big Brother, just as George Orwell predicted in his famous book.

Russian writer Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn during his time in the Gulag in 1956.

We have long been the guardians of our own gulag. We’ve saved on unnecessary expenses for barbed wire and watchtowers manned by guards. All we need is television, cell phones, and a highly artificial intelligence that has taken the place of the once-ubiquitous natural intelligence. We even spend a lot of money to buy a cell phone that controls us even better, as well as a huge flat-screen TV full of falsehoods. Stalin and Hitler would look on this development with envy.

Television.
Not only does it turn me into an idiot, but I also have to pay for it.

Think for a moment about how many of your thoughts aren’t even your own, but have been quietly implanted in you like a cuckoo’s egg. This metaphor was well explained in an article seven years ago, shortly before the Covid Gulag:

The cuckoo is a degenerate parent, since it lays its eggs in other birds’ nests. Instinctive reactions play a crucial role in the lives of birds. An egg or chick in our nest belongs to us, even if it looks different. A monster hatches from it. It grows quickly, is more assertive, and opens its beak wider when being fed. When it discovers an egg or its adoptive siblings next to it, it quickly pushes them to the ground. And eventually, the impostor and murderer in one grows up. Source.

Our thoughts no longer belong to us—it is these cuckoo eggs that have taken our freedom away.
