Can one trust a state that has officially declared that international law does not apply to it? A country that withdraws from treaties, obligations, and guarantees at the first opportunity? Iranian President Pezeshkian has stated that he is willing to end the war in exchange for guarantees against further attacks.
For more details, see the article published on ZeroHedge on Tuesday evening: Iran Says ‘Prepared To End War’ If Security Guarantees Offered.
In my opinion, Iran’s drones, missiles, and strategic acumen are the best guarantee that it will not be attacked again. It would be good if the United States were to close all its bases in the Middle East. This can be compared to a court-ordered restraining order imposed on individuals who have behaved aggressively toward their family members. While this offers no guarantees, it at least makes malicious behavior more difficult and creates a legal basis for punishing violations of this order.

Please don’t get me wrong—I am wholeheartedly in favor of ending this senseless war and all others. However, I have legitimate doubts about the credibility of any treaties or guarantees to which Israel or the U.S. is a party. Did not the president of the former world power declare that he would not apply Article 5 of the NATO Treaty to countries that did not support his war of aggression against Iran? The United States has always interpreted all agreements in a way that suited its current policy.
The U.S. is a country that accuses its own ally—popularly known as the country that is wherever it wants to be—of the very strategy that its adversary is fighting against.
Lasting peace must be achieved—that much is clear to most of us. Furthermore, effective mechanisms are needed to deter such aggressors from pursuing their criminal intentions. Without this, the current war in the Middle East will come to be seen in the future as the second in a series of many wars against Iran. It is worth considering that both the war in Ukraine and the one against Iran were provoked by Pentagon experts controlled by the Deep State. I can already hear the outcry: How can that be, after all, Putin is to blame for everything! Yes, he allowed himself to be provoked and is maliciously passing on information from satellites to Iran. This is, so to speak, a small act of revenge for the information that was passed on to Ukraine.

The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) has received over 200 complaints from service members across all branches of the military and from more than 50 bases, sparking outrage and accusations of violating the separation of church and state. The Pentagon has not commented directly on the matter.
The wolf has feasted many times—now they have devoured the wolf itself. The reputation of the United States’ supposed military might has suffered greatly. The only thing powerful are the crimes they commit against innocent peoples. Hubris has always been a harbinger of doom. We can thank Trump for significantly accelerating this process.
