Would you trust a bank that withholds funds entrusted to you under flimsy pretexts? Especially when the same pretext is used selectively? Israel is committing genocide in Palestine and doesn’t have to worry about its deposits in Europe. Regardless of your stance on Russia’s actions, such politicized treatment of bank customers, judged by different standards depending on current political needs, poses a significant risk of eroding confidence in the institutions that “protect” the capital entrusted to them in this way.

On Friday, 12 December, the EU crossed the legal Rubicon, in order to indefinitely freeze the $246 billion in Russian assets held in Europe. Under the previous system, the assets were frozen temporarily, and the freeze required a renewal every six months, conditional on a unanimous vote by all EU member states. So far, all EU member states could agree to a six months freeze, then another six, and another six… But now with Ukraine rapidly running out of money, with the acute danger that peace might stop the gravy train and lead to the fall of the government in Kiev, the Eurocrats are in a panic. The high priestess of “our values,” decided to lead the bloc across the legal Rubicon and seize the said assets permanently.
The love for an equally unparalleled corrupt state on the eastern flank of Europe, imposed by the globalists of the corrupt and lawless European Expropriation Commission, has led to a dead end from which the only way out – at least for the technocratic minds in Davos – would be a war with Russia.
Brussels has provided no evidence.
Apparently, mere expressions of opinion and analyses are enough. Freezing accounts, restricting freedom of movement, effectively preventing access to legal counsel: all in the name of democracy and fundamental rights.
Anyone who deviates from the official narrative is considered a hybrid threat. This is what freedom of expression looks like when it’s managed “based on values.” Source.
Defending democracy through censorship is like fighting for peace by supplying arms to one side. Both are promoted by the illegal Union. It fully deserves that name. When the influence of the former EU extended into new areas of expropriation, robbery, and fraud, a change of image was needed, and consequently, a new blue-and-yellow flag, modeled on the Ukrainian one.
