British TV personality Piers Morgan has sincerely apologized to Novak Djokovic. Because Djokovic refused to be vaccinated against Covid, Morgan called the tennis star a “liar” and a “cheater.” Three years later, he apologizes. At a time when tennis players and other athletes were buying vaccination certificates, the greatest active tennis player remained openly unvaccinated. Novak Djokovic faced media scrutiny and suspension from competition, but maintained his perfectly logical stance: he didn’t need a Covid vaccination.

Quote from Friday’s article on tkp.at: Apology of the Year. Source.

Novak Djokovic is not only the best tennis player in the world, he is also a man who did not give in to the pressure and preferred to forgo the championship rather than have an experimental gene-editing agent injected into him.

Novak Djokovic is from Serbia. As a twelve-year-old, he experienced the full harshness of Western “democracy”: NATO planes bombing civilian targets. My father was carrying my brothers, my mother was running with our luggage, and I slipped and fell. When I turned around, I saw the hidden planes circling above the building, dropping bombs. The earth shook.

It takes courage to admit a mistake, especially when you’re a television reporter known for his emotionally charged pronouncements against skeptics of mass measures to combat an artificially created pandemic. His stance, however, is typical: he emphasizes the good that this supposed elixir of happiness is meant to bring to humanity. Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and it’s difficult to expect mainstream journalists to deviate from the official version. His sincere apology alone is a sign of respect.

The famous Serbian tennis player chose a far more difficult path. He was prepared to forgo another consecutive title to win the Australian Open rather than betray his convictions. His steadfastness and the fact that he rejected easy, albeit dishonest, ways out, such as buying a vaccination certificate, testify to his strength of character. Djakovic is not against vaccinations either; he is fighting solely for freedom of choice—for the right to decide for himself what strangers are allowed to put into his body.
