It was only a matter of time before the bubble burst. While politicians, NGOs and activists ignoring economic laws have been telling fairy tales for years about how a “green transition” can not only save the climate, but also usher the economy into a new golden age, banks have long since calculated what really counts: Profits and losses. And lo and behold, the so-called “Net-Zero Banking Alliance” has imploded. The numbers don’t do justice to what was expected. Source.

An article appeared in Saturday’s Wall Street Journal: Net-Zero Banking Alliance suspends operations amid wave of resignations.
So ends the era of “saving the planet” with the noble goal of robbing us from the perpetrators of environmental disaster, with CO2 taxes.

They have ruined our world by building countless parks out of windmill piles. Instead of grass, they have planted eco-panels on meadows. Switch on the heating in your electric car in winter and watch the range of your eco-car decrease. After all, it’s all for the best – for the glory of pseudo-ecology!

“Net zero” is coming to an end in the financial world, as it is already proving to be a complete failure in the real economy. If “green projects” are not profitable despite subsidies, tax breaks and other government measures to artificially raise the price of hydrocarbons through additional taxes and special fees, how can this continue in the future? How much longer can states afford to finance utopian projects when, on the one hand, they are just zombie companies anyway, and on the other hand, state budgets are in danger of imploding under the pressure of interest costs?
