And it was supposed to be so beautiful! On Friday, June 13, the Iranian government and a country many times larger than Israel were supposed to fall. It was supposed to kneel before this aggressor without a country of its own. But something went wrong. Yes, thanks to information from spies, many high-ranking military officers were assassinated, and scientists also fell victim to these attacks. Doesn’t this remind you of the destruction of the Polish intelligentsia by the Nazi-Stalinist coalition more than 80 years ago?
Instead of victory, something happened that the politicians in the Knesset could not even have imagined in their traumatic dreams when they themselves murdered the defenseless Palestinian people in occupied Gaza. Many cities in Israel, including Tel Aviv, now resemble a pile of rubble brought to its knees.
… a possible regime change in Iran would be initiated less by open acts of war than by covert operations on the ground. Assassinations, terrorist and sabotage campaigns, drone attacks from within the country – similar to Operation Spiderweb – would be part of this scenario. But all of this would not be enough to bring about an actual regime change. Quote from today’s article on tkp.at: Israel-Iran war of attrition continues – negotiations fruitless. Source.
When comparing the history of Iran with that of Israel, one can only consider the last 80 years, even though Iran – known as Persia until 1935 – has a history stretching back over 4,000 years. One could argue that the history of the Jews is even older – yes, but the Persians lived in what is now Iran, while the state of Israel was founded in Palestine shortly after World War II. Israel was not always an enemy of Iran. During the cruel reign of Reza Pahlavi, who was put on the throne by Anglo-American sponsors, Israel had an ally in Iran against the non-Shiite Arab states. A brief history of Iran and Israel is worth reading.

Have you heard of the Dahiji doctrine? You can read about it on Wikipedia. It is an Israeli military strategy that involves the planned destruction of civilian infrastructure in order to put pressure on enemy forces.

She had refused to serve in the IDF, the Israeli military. This short biography is taken from her study Historical Comparison: The Real Israel Compared to the Hasbara Story.
