The British newspaper The Telegraph published an article yesterday: Putin’s helicopter ‘fended off drone attack’.
Russian leader’s recent visit to Kursk region drew fire from Ukrainian UAVs, it emerges.
Ukraine has not responded to the claims. If verified, the timing of the drone attack would suggest Ukrainian forces had advanced intelligence about Putin’s visit to the war zone. The Kremlin did not publicly disclose the trip until after Putin had left the region.
The incident occurred on May 20 during Putin’s visit to the Kursk region. If the situation is confirmed, this indicates that the US military services were involved in this action. It is impossible for the Ukrainian side to obtain information about the current time and location of the Russian president without the help of the USA.

Was it really an assassination attempt on Putin? We don’t know yet. The information is only coming from the Russian side. Both sides are lying to win public favor. If this is confirmed, Russian revanchism could have concrete consequences. Ukraine is condemned to receive satellite information mainly from the USA. Russia, on the other hand, has its own satellites and does not need to ask anyone to point out a target.
It would be no problem for Moscow to send a missile with the aim of killing the Ukrainian president. Not much would change, there would be no shortage of willing scumbags for the post – even if only temporarily. We’d have a carbon copy of Selensky and nothing would change. He would just have to hide better from the Russian satellites. It would be much harder to evade genuine Kremlin spies, who are certainly close to the Ukrainian president. In addition, Russia would be labeled as the biggest terrorist country, and rightly so this time. Even if some people – led by the hand by television, programmed by propaganda – now see it that way too.
