Dr. Rajeev Venkayya, mentioned in the article, was Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Biosecurity at the White House. He was appointed to this position in May 2005. He has also held senior positions at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Venkayya was a primary author of “A National Strategy for Pandemic Influenza” as issued by the George W. Bush administration in 2005. It was the first document that mapped out a nascent version of lockdowns, designed for global deployment. “A flu pandemic would have global consequences,” said Bush, “so no nation can afford to ignore this threat, and every nation has responsibilities to detect and stop its spread.”
It was 2068 years ago that Cicero spoke these words:
The poor – works without end.

The taxpayer – pays for all three.
The banker – steals from all four.
The lawyer – cheats all five.
Doctor – bills all six.
Bandit – intimidates all seven.
Politician – lives comfortably at the expense of all eight.
The only difference between Cicero’s time and today is that we don’t insult each other in the Roman Forum, but on Facebook or another platform for exchanging opinions.
Debbie Lerman presented, among other things, a documentary showing NATO as the organization coordinating the pandemic action in Italy. The Italian CTS (Comitato Tecnico Scientifico, scientific-technical committee) was established on February 5, 2020 with an advisory role and to support coordination efforts to deal with the epidemiological emergency caused by the spread of the coronavirus.
Gen. Bonfiglio recalls Law 124/2007 emphasizing that the transmission of documents produced in CTS (Scientific Technical Committee) will henceforth be done through the NATO WEU Point of the Department of Civil Defense and the Ministry of Health.

As you can see, the North Atlantic “defense” pact has taken control of the pro-virus narrative not only in Bergamo. Defense against the viral threat became an important function of NATO until, two years later, that pact changed its focus and shifted the center of attention to Kyiv.
