Lengyel, magyar két jó barát – Polish, Hungarian, two nephews. Our shared history of Poland and Hungary proves that these two nations have always fought for values such as freedom, self-determination and national sovereignty. Personally, I feel a special bond with Hungary.

I came to Budapest for the first time in the summer of 1974 and immediately felt affection for this country. It was something special. The historical atmosphere of the Hungarian capital with its architectural elements from the time of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, the sympathetic reactions of the Hungarians and the feeling of freedom in a country that, like Poland, was dependent on membership of the Warsaw Pact during the Cold War. None of this prevented the Hungarians from developing their version of freedom, which corresponded to the difficult situation of the time.

During the Second World War, Hungary was officially an ally of Germany. Nevertheless, they supported the Poles during the Warsaw Uprising in the summer of 1944:

The Hungarians didn’t give a damn about the Germans’ orders – they supplied the fighting Warsaw with weapons, rescued wounded insurgents and helped them evacuate. Some of them were shot by the Germans for helping the Poles. Had it not been for the order from Budapest, the Hungarians would probably have joined the insurgents.

In the summer of 1989, on the occasion of the symbolic funeral of Imre Nagy, the most prominent victim of the USSR’s invasion of Hungary in 1956, an unknown 26-year-old man gave a fiery speech in front of several hundred thousand Hungarians on Heroes’ Square in Budapest, in which he called for free elections and the withdrawal of the Soviet troops stationed there since 1956 from Hungary, which was still communist at the time.

This young man was Viktor Orban, who had studied law at the renowned E. Wacluzor University in Budapest. Source. Viktor Orban has not only made headlines in Hungary. In 1993, he was invited by Klaus Schwab to the first globalist politicians’ training course in Davos, where he sat on the bench with Angela Merkel, Tony Blair and Nicolas Sarkozy. George Soros has also financially supported the activities of Orban’s Fidesz party.

There are no politicians who meet all our expectations, nor will there ever be. Many of you have probably been outraged by Orban’s attitude towards Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. I, too, am not in favor of tolerating a war criminal in the political salons. I do not know the reasons why Viktor Orban made such a decision. This serious grievance is not reason enough for me to condemn the Hungarian prime minister. I do not know the reasons why he acted as he did.

Virtually all European nations, with the exception of Slovakia, have reason to envy Hungary for having a charismatic politician fighting for the well-understood interests of his own people. Of course, the Russophobic victims of TV propaganda – as pictured above – are unable to understand the real aspects of the ongoing war in Ukraine. They can’t, because they don’t even allow themselves to think that the ever-repeated story about the evil Putin is a made-up fairy tale by NATO propaganda specialists.

If someone tells me that Russia is pursuing an aggressive policy, I will show them that.

Of course there is Kremlin propaganda. The only remedy against one-sided brainwashing is common sense. And why? Because all propaganda is based on emotions, which are fueled by the propaganda itself.

Yesterday, an article was published on the tkp.at platform: Hungary: Constitutional amendment to protect national values and sovereignty. Source.

The Hungarian National Assembly passed the 15th constitutional amendment to the Fundamental Law on Monday, adopting a number of new provisions with a strong majority of 140 votes in favor and 21 against.

The amendments to the Basic Law include several important points: the clarification that a person is either male or female; the prohibition of the production, use, distribution and advertising of drugs; the possibility of suspending the citizenship of dual nationals who pose a threat to public order or Hungarian national security; and the confirmation of the right to pay in cash. The changes also represent an attempt by Hungary to hedge its bets against the power claims of EU headquarters.

These are sad times when the constitution has to replace the biology textbook.
