They are lying about Iran.
Now they are lying that they are a military power. Eleven aircraft carriers combined with a complacent, unrealistic geopolitical vision—this is a clear sign of the decline of the former empire. Back in June last year, Trump demanded Iran’s immediate surrender. He repeated this during the USrael intelligence services’ compromising attempts to spark a color revolution in Iran in January. And now, after announcing this unfounded ultimatum several times, the president is backing down from these unrealistic usurpations in a manner that will probably go down in history as the “Trump tactic.”
The latest developments of the past few hours have been summarized in another article published today on tkp.at: Day 8 of the war of aggression against Iran. Source. The downfall of an empire is a difficult process, the significance of which its rulers only realize very slowly, if at all.
The only benefit of such action by the US could be the possible downfall of the most terrorist country in the world, which occupies Palestinian territory. I suspect that Iran is also exaggerating when it shows in the media what the pride of the American Navy currently looks like – the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln.
Trump can sleep soundly. After all, Iran is far away. On the other hand, important midterm elections are coming up in the US. They will take place in November, and this time no one feels the need to manipulate them as they did six years ago. The current unpopular policies of the White House are a good way to diminish the Trump administration’s significance in domestic and foreign policy. Therefore, continuing this aggression against Iran in the coming months will lead to a dramatic decline in support, even among Republican Party supporters.
If Trump loses the election, he will probably stage a coup. International law? The Constitution? Those are just obstacles on the path to ruling an empire. A court ruling? Who cares!
