You can’t shift responsibility onto others. Sure, you can insure yourself against the financial consequences of bad decisions, but the responsibility remains with the person who made them. Where there are proponents, there are usually opponents of the issue. Pros and cons are a social “natural law,” as everything has advantages and disadvantages, and these can be weighted differently. In a fact-based debate, people and arguments on both sides will also be in flux. After all, new facts come to light, and assessments are not set in stone. Source.
